5 Surprising Products You May Not Know We Sell

At Monarch Brands, we have providing towels, linens, and other cleaning supplies to the hospitality, industrial, and JanSan industries for decades. Our experts strive to understand these industries and have developed a line of products to make sure that their needs are met.

Over the years, this dedication to quality has built our name around made-to-spec institutional towels, irregular towels, and a wide range of microfiber products and textiles that we repurpose into usable rags. We do, however, offer an extensive range of other products that can be used in an even broader range of applications.

In fact, we offer so many different products that many people may be surprised that we currently include these 5 products in our inventory:

1. Drop Cloths

These canvas drop cloths are all-purpose tools that are a veritable necessity for any painting or construction project. If your clients work a job that is going to kick up a lot of dust or cause potential spatter (or even if they just need a convenient way to avoid tracking dirt through a specific area), they’ll find a lot of use in these full-panel cloths with double-stitched seams.

These items fit with our commitment to reusability because they are washable, so a project doesn’t have to go through miles and miles of plastic sheet, which means your clients can save money in the long run.

2. Cleanroom Wipes

A cleanroom has to meet certain standards as set forth by the different regulatory bodies that have power in your clients’ industries. In other words, they’re not allowed to simply wipe up a spill with a regular towel. They need something more, because cleaning is not disinfecting, and they need to do both in a cleanroom.

Our cleanroom wipes are rated for ISO Class 4 – 5 and feature 100% pure continuous filament polyester yarn that is lint-free and has laser sealed edges. The soft, non-abrasive material provides the reliability required in these labs, and they can even be gamma irradiated to ensure they are completely sterile.

3. Antimicrobial-Treated Kitchen Towels

There’s no such thing as being too careful in the kitchen – especially when it comes to all the potential microbes that could be growing on the surfaces where food is prepared. These special kitchen towels use SILVADUR™ to inhibit the growth of undesirable bacteria and microbes on the surface of the material.

So, your clients will be able to keep the important food prep surfaces nice and clean, and, at the same time, these towels will look newer longer by reducing the number of odor-causing bacteria that try to set up shop in between the fibers.

4. Microfiber Bleach Safe Towels

Microfiber has been a mainstay for us, and we have towels for almost any job, from polishing and dusting to wet floor cleaning and more.

These bleach safe towels, though, are an extremely important addition to our lineup of salon towels. They are absorbent and soft, of course, but they can also be laundered up to 500 times so they are extremely reusable. These towels are also treated with SILVADUR™ so they will be safer to use in salons or in hospitality situations. And, as the name suggests, they have bleach safe properties so you can confidently wash them and prep them for the next use.

5. Cobbler Aprons

This apron is pure utility. From small to big jobs, your clients will find many different ways to put these simple-but-effective products to good use in factories, schools, wood shops, housekeeping departments, daycares, and more.

They’re designed to provide cover from the threat of dirt and stains while leaving plenty of mobility so it’s easier to get the job done. And, of course, they include pockets that are big enough to keep important tools and equipment within easy reach.

Monarch Brands is a wholesaler and manufacturer of microfiber, commercial linen, institutional towels, and wiper rags. We started in this business back in 1947, specializing in just a few products, but now we have evolved and we provide a huge range of value-priced janitorial and cleaning supplies around the world.

These 5 items are extremely useful and durable products that many people don’t realize that we carry.

If this was news to you, too, be sure to explore our range of products and find out what else we have for you.

We routinely work with customers to develop specific textiles in the hospitality, janitorial, and restaurant supply industries. Many of our wholesale textiles were developed first for a specific project then added into our lines. If products are successful we bring them into our catalog. Our foam-filled flat microfiber mop is a perfect example of this. We developed a more economical solution for a specific customer who’s laundry was renting microfiber mop pads in high-loss environments. The cheaper mop didn’t last as long as microfiber filled mops, but then again, it didn’t need to. The mop was destroyed or thrown out accidentally. Today, the econo-mop is one of our best-selling microfiber mops.
